Since 1999, Tidewater has grown from a modest home business to a 24,000 square foot, multidisciplinary physiotherapy clinic designed with you in mind. Located on picturesque farm land just east of Riverview, New Brunswick, we offer a bright, clean atmosphere for you to relax and recover in.

JoAnn has been
Alana Mallett | Physiotherapist
Alana completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New Brunswick Saint John (
Alana joined Tidewater Physiotherapy in 2017 and has enjoyed treating various orthopaedic conditions of various age groups. She believes in using a team approach while working with a patient to help them achieve their goals. Her treatment methods include manual therapy, education, and an exercise program specific to the patient’s individual needs.
Alana is dedicated to her profession and believes post graduate courses are a necessity to ensure her patients receive the best treatment. She has completed additional
In her spare time, Alana has a passion for sports. She has played on several competitive soccer teams including university soccer. She continues to stay active while playing soccer and has recently started running.
Jennifer Grant | Registered Massage Therapist
Jennifer graduated from Eastern College in 2012 and joined the Tidewater team in April 2016. She offers therapeutic massages, deep tissue massages, pregnancy massages, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) treatment, sports massages and chair massages. Jennifer has three children, and when she’s not working can usually be found at one of their sports events or school activities. She loves helping others and is a regular blood donor.
Lorelie Knowlton | Registered Massage Therapist
After graduating from ICT School Moncton campus in 2013, Laura spent her first year practising in a spa setting before transitioning to a clinical atmosphere. Her unique background allows her to meet her clients’ needs through a blend of relaxation and therapeutic massage, and she strongly advocates strong communication between therapist and client. Her areas of study include but are not limited to Swedish and deep tissue massage, repetitive motion injury rehabilitation, cupping, reflexology, migraine relief and prevention, pregnancy, myofascial and trigger point release and Indian scalp massage.
Denise Porter | Physiotherapist
Denise completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinisiology degree from UNB in 2016. From there, she went on to Dalhousie Univeristy and recently graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Throughout her studies, Denise has gained experience in both public and private settings, working with a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. She believes in helping patients improve through mutual goal setting, manual therapy, exercise and education. Denise is dedicated to continual learning to help progress her skills and provide the best patient care.
Sandi Crooks | Foot Care Nurse-
Who Needs Nursing Foot Care? Foot health is an integral component of overall vitality and well-being. Nursing foot care is helpful to all people who require foot care services and who are otherwise unable to provide themselves with adequate self-care. Anyone with a health concern or foot-related health issue can benefit from seeking nursing foot care. According to the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses, many foot care patients share these common health conditions:
- Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Diabetes
- Peripheral Arterial Disease
- Wounds
Certified foot care nurses have received vigorous training in the following practices:
- Callus and corn removal
- Nail trimming and filing (to help prevent ingrown toenails) for patients who are unable to perform this task themselves. For instance, in cases of nerve damage, arthritis, etc.
- Full professional assessment of the patient’s foot condition
- Identification of potential foot health problems and appropriate care to prevent infection.
